August 25th 1:00PM at the Watertown, NY Fairgrounds
Welcome to Operation Rock! Operation Rock is a benefit concert for members of Fort Drum 10th
Mountain Division returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. The concert will
take place rain or shine on August 25th in Watertown NY at the Watertown
Fairgrounds Baseball Diamond at 1:00 p.m. The concert will feature national
recording artists Candlebox and Drowning Pool, as
well as local rock bands.
A portion of the proceeds from “Operation Rock” will be presented to the “Climb for Glory” fund, which benefits soldiers from Fort Drum and their families. “Climb for Glory” was created in March 2002 in response to an outpouring of donations of money from the local community surrounding Fort Drum. How to Purchase TicketsTickets are $29 at the door, $27 pre concert and $20 for soldiers with a military i.d. (valid only at local ticket locations.
